A locksmith business built on doing the ordinary things properly: turn up, look at the door, explain the options, and get on with it.
Good On Ya Locksmith Hawthorn works on locks, keys, doors and door hardware for properties around Hawthorn and the surrounding eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Homes, apartments, townhouses, offices, shops — the door does not much care what is behind it.
The name is meant to say something about how we work. “Good on ya” is what you say to someone who has done the right thing without making a production of it. That is the standard we are aiming at: friendly, competent, no fuss.
In practice that means a few specific commitments. We look at a door before quoting on it. We tell you when replacing hardware makes more sense than repairing it, even when the repair would be the easier sale. We do not tell people their property is unsafe to sell them a lock. And when something is outside what we do, we say so rather than have a go and hope.
We are based at 692 Glenferrie Rd, Hawthorn VIC 3122, which means Hawthorn is not a service area on a map for us — it is the street we work on.
